t-pain is holding a contest for the best verse to ^^^^ this song,
and im gonna enter. ill post my entry up here when i send it in.
but on another note, my tumblr page is up and rolling, mattoxmusic.tumblr.com (i think... nah thats it lol)
thats my song... one of my songs lol. from higher learning. check out the youtube page (www.youtube.com/user/raabblog)
to check out the other 15 tracks from that "mixtape"
speaking of "mixtapes".. i hate using that word. mostly because "tapes" are obsolete. so when i say to someone "yo i got a mixtape coming out" i feel like a real dummy cuz, u know, its 2010.
so i use the word project instead.
the Higher Learning project was dope, and i PLANNED to follow it up with a new tape(project) every month. but the problem with that is, i try to do too much at once. and when i try to do too much at once, the end result, is nothing.
so im not gonna put out a mixtape every month. im not even putting out a project every month.
my logic behind it is, id rather put more time into a project that sounds like something, instead of rushing out a new project every month for twelve months, and have at least half of them get over looked.
so i changed the game plan.
instead of a mixtape every month, or a project every month, or an ep every month,
i think ill just work on 1. until i think its dope enough for the public to hear and enjoy. now, idk how long itll take me to record the project dubbed "Pulp Fiction" but im out to make a dope project thats worthy of both attention and mention.
